Updating Issue Statuses and Arranging Cards

Boards help you visualize an overview of your registered issues across all statuses within a project. You can prioritize your issues based on their importance and update them by moving the Board card (issue card) around.

Updating an Issue’s Status

Dragging and dropping a Board card to another status column updates the issue’s status automatically.

When an overdue issue is not in the Closed status column, there will be a “fire” icon reflected on the Board card. You can eliminate it by updating its status to Closed or changing the due date.

Notes:

  • All updates will go live immediately — no need to refresh or reload to see the updates within the Board.
  • The resolved status will not eliminate the overdue alert icon. Only a Closed status will consider as issue complete.

Arranging Cards within Status Columns

You can prioritize your issues within each column easily by arranging them based on their importance.

When your team understands that higher up cards are greater priority and importance, its easy for each team member to know what to work on first. This helps your team to focus on the work that matters most and move issues through your workflow faster.
